Communication in dance an approach to CI
I'm intrigued by the delicate balance between allowing the body to respond naturally to a wide spectrum of stimuli, encompassing the physical and emotional, the internal and external, and the necessity of exerting control while allowing oneself to follow the unknown.
I would like to offer a distinctive approach to improvisation and contact improvisation, integrating a diverse array of bodywork techniques. This encompasses working with a full spectrum of muscle tonicity, mastering the ability to harmonize with others while offering counterproposals. It involves following a shared central axis while also extending the dance center beyond its usual confines, sometimes even transcending the periphery. Movement is synchronized with both the act of falling and the subtle tension within fascial tissues, muscle groups, and tendons. This is a form of dance where mindfulness aligns with the laws of body physics while concurrently acknowledging the emotional dimension of the body-mind connection. It represents a quest for beauty within motion, an exploration of the truth embedded in the body, and the electrifying force that propels expression and creativity.
